Day 1

NAIROBI – MASAI MARA (Appx: 165 miles - 5 hrs)

• 0730hrs: pick up from your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport / residence.
• Commence the safari journey to Masai Mara game reserve, Kenya’s finest wildlife haven.

 Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner, overnight at your pre-booked camp/Lodge

Day 2

FULL DAY – MASAI MARA 

• Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
• The Mara as is popularly known remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
• It is host to the highest and varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region.
• The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
• We shall traverse the reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing   encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
• You shall enjoy a picnic lunch by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July –October)

Day 3

Maasai Mara – Lake Victoria (165 miles : 5 – 6 hrs with stops)

• Morning game viewing drive at the Masai Mara.
• Later depart Maasai Mara and proceed to the Lake Victoria in Tanzania
• The drive is via the Isebania Kenya / Tanzania border town.
• Meet Tanzania vehicle and driver guide at Isebania border after clearing with the Immigration & Customs procedures.
• Drive to the South-Eastern bay of Lake Victoria.
• Arrive at your lodge late afternoon. Relax on the shores of this lake which is rich in history. The breeze is refreshing. If you have time, you may visit the Bunda Market.

Day 4:

Lake Victoria – Serengeti National Park (110 miles : Approx. 3 hrs)

• After breakfast, visit a nearby Fishing Village in the company of a local guide. Among other things, you will learn lots about traditional Fishing techniques, selling mode of fresh Fish and the general rural life. Thereafter, drive into the nearby Serengeti which shares the same ecosystem with the Maasai Mara game reserve.
• Ideally Maasai Mara is the smaller extension of the Serengeti. It is well located for game viewing drives.
• A short afternoon game viewing drive en route.

Day 5:

Serengeti Game Reserve

• A full day game viewing drive as we explore this vast nature endowed wildlife reserve.
• Options of morning and afternoon or full day game viewing sessions are available to you.
• The annual wildebeest migration is Serengeti’s most famous attraction.
• It is also home to a pride of its lions which have been fitted with radio-transmitter collars so that their movements may be tracked.
• Other wildlife you may see includes cheetah, zebra, giraffe, Thompson and Grant’s gazelle, Eland, Impala, Klipspringer, Hippo and Warthog.

Day 6:

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater (110 miles  kms: 3-4 hours)

• Depart the Serengeti with a game viewing drive en-route.
• Descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing in this unique caldera park.
• We shall look out for Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo and Hippo.
• Later we ascend to the crater rim
• Catch a glimpse of the most magnificent sunset views in Africa from the crater rim!

Day 7:

Ngorongoro – Tarangire (95 miles -3 hours)

• Sunrise views from the crater rim.
• Proceed to Tarangire National park
• An afternoon game drive gives you a chance to see different types of wildlife which inhabit this small but beautiful park.

Day 8:

Tarangire – Arusha or Nairobi

• (Tarangire – Arusha – 100 miles  – approx. 3 hrs)
• (Tarangire – Nairobi – 260 miles  – approx. 7 hours)
• Short morning game viewing drive at the Tarangire.
• Proceed to Nairobi via the Tanzania / Kenya Namanga border town – Optional drop off in Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport.
• Arrive Nairobi in the early evening
•  We’re off to Nairobi and should arrive at about 16:30 hrs. (4:30 pm).
