Lake Nakuru national park, one of Kenya’s finest and stunning parks with great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dot the lake plus wide variety of wildlfe.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy, is special. Nowhere else in Kenya can you see chimpanzees in their native habitat. This reserve also harbors the largest number of black rhinos in East Africa in specially protected game corridors. But you’ll also find all the Big Five here.
Samburu reserve, In Samburu, you’ll find abundant wildlife as the reserve features plenty of the big cats and over 900 elephants. Neighboring Shaba and Buffalo Springs offer a dramatic choice of scenic terrain – from riverine forests to old lava flows to marshes and springs.
Aberdares national park, A wonderland you’ll find here in north of Nairobi. You’ll overnight up in a tree hotel with views of a local watering hole, hosting elephant, buffalo, and antelope, amongst others. A truly unique slice of Kenya.
Itinerary:
Day 1
NAIROBI-LAKE NAKURU (100 miles 3Hrs)
Meal plan: Lunch, dinner
0630hrs: Pick-up from your Nairobi area hotel / residence
Proceed to the Lake Naivasha with brief stopover at the Great Rift valley view point. Proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride sailing past school of hippos and birds. Thereafter proceed to Lake Nakuru national park arriving in time for check in and hot lunch.

Day 2
LAKE NAKURU TO OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY (100 miles 3Hrs)
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast you will enjoy a morning enroute Short game and bird watching drive at the lake Nakuru national park as we exit to head to the Ol pejeta Conservancy. On our way we shall have a brief stopover at Thompsons Falls to view these beautiful sceneries. Arriving in time at Ol pejeta conservancy, the only Chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya and home to the big five.

DAY 3
OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE (110 miles 3Hrs)
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
We’ll rise early to enjoy the morning light and first stirrings of wildlife upon the grasslands here. After breakfast, we’ll take a final game drive through the sanctuary and we’re off to Samburu Park. This will be an easy and picturesque drive over the Kenya highlands, and we’ll pass through several climate zones on our way north. We’ll arrive at Samburu Park and its lifeblood, the Ewaso Nyiro River, providing the wildlife with its life-sustaining waters. Here at the river, we will look for lion, buffalo, elephant, and even hippo.

Day 4
FULL DAY AT SAMBURU
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Let’s get up with the sun to enjoy the breaking of a new day in this wild and active park. This is a day of unlimited game drives… if you wish. Just let your driver/guide know how you would like to plan your time. At the Ewaso Nyiro River, we’ll be on watch for the park’s great populations of lion and elephant, who come to this watering spot to refresh. At Samburu, we can also spot species not found elsewhere like the reticulated giraffe, oryx, Somali ostrich, and Grevy’s zebra. The park also shows off over 450 species of avian life, including kingfisher, vulture, guinea fowl, falcon, and eagle. Despite its arid appearance, Samburu offers many surprises for the curious safari-goer.

Day 5
SAMBURU RESERVE TO ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
- Game viewing drive at the Samburu game reserve.
- Proceed south to the Aberdare national park
- Transfer to your tree hotel.
- Both tree hotels provide spectacular viewing perches for night game viewing
- Game is attracted by the waterholes and salt licks around the lodges.

Day 6
ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI (100 miles 3Hrs)
Meal plan: Breakfast
After breakfast you will have a morning game drive as you proceed to your base hotel to meet your driver/guide and later proceed for drop to Nairobi.
