Itinerary:

DAY 1

NAIROBI – ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK 

After breakfast depart for the Central Highlands via the pineapple and coffee plantations.

Arrive at Aberdare Country Club for check-in and lunch.

In the afternoon you are transferred to The Ark Lodge in their complimentary shuttle. Set in the heart of the Aberdares National Park, The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah's Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!

 DAY 2

ABERDARE – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Samburu reserve, one of the famous safari destinations in East Africa. Located in Northern Kenya and is a premier game reserve. Samburu reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals like the Grevy Zebras, Reticulated giraffe, Somali Ostrich, gerenuk and the baisy oryx.                                                       

After breakfast depart towards the Northern Highlands. Make a brief stopover at The Equator line and enjoy the water experiments. Proceed to Samburu National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

 DAY 3

SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE                                                               

Early morning breakfast, then depart for a morning game drive.

Return to your camp for lunch.

Relax until time for an afternoon game drive.

DAY 4

SAMBURU – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

After breakfast you will depart with a morning enroute game drive as you head to the famous Ol pejeta Conservancy arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will begin your game drive as you also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary.

DAY 5

Early morning breakfast, then depart for Lake Nakuru national park with a brief stopover at Thomson Falls in Nyahururu.

Arrive at your lodge in good time for hot lunch.

Afternoon game drive. The park is a world renowned ornithologist paradise attracting many bird species. Look out for animals like the rhinos and baboons. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges.

 DAY 6

LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE      

Early morning breakfast, then depart for Maasai Mara. Have a stop-over at Narok. 

Proceed to arrive at your lodge for lunch.

Relax until time for evening game drive.

Early breakfast then check-out, depart morning game drive.

DAY 8

MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in our globe.

The reserve hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. We shall visit the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration as we enjoy our picnic lunch.

DAY 9

MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha is at the highest elevation of the Kenyan Rift valley at 1,884 meters (6,181 ft.). There is no visible outlet, but since the lake water is relatively fresh it is assumed to have an underground outflow. The lake has an average depth of 6 metres (20 ft), with the deepest area being at Crescent Island, at a maximum depth of 30 metres (98 ft).

Later in the afternoon, our driver/guide will pick you to go and enjoy a refreshing boat ride at the lake Naivasha.You will enjoy getting close to the hippos, watching fishermen inside the lake, different species of birds like the fish eagles, cormorants, pelicans etc.

 DAY 10

LAKE NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK                                      
Early breakfast then depart for Amboseli. Amboseli national park often called the 'Land of Giants' – due to the impressive elephants here carrying massive tusks – the animals are set against breathtaking vistas of Mt Kilimanjaro, which makes an awesome backdrop to the small park. Aside from elephants, many plains animals are easy to spot (as are other visitors, it’s a popular place). Fantastic photo opportunities are possible, and early mornings are best for clear views of Kilimanjaro. Have a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint.   

Proceed to arrive for lunch at your lodge / camp.

In the evening, enjoy a game drive.

DAY 11

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK                                                               

After breakfast you will depart for a ¾ day game drive. You will be provided with picnic lunch boxes and you will enjoy your lunch at the Observation Hill where you will see an almost aerial view of the park. This day will be spent in search of more herds of elephants and other smaller animals that roam in these beautiful plains OR You can leave the lodge immediately after breakfast and proceed to the park for your game drive with a visit to the observation hill and come back for hot lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the comfort of your hotel.

DAY 13

AMBOSELI – TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK TO TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK (65 miles Appx 2 hrs)

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

After breakfast we load our luggage to our vehicle. It’s just a two-hour drive to the striking Tsavo West. This is one of Kenya’s oldest parks and offers us a vivid landscape of hills, golden savannahs and luxuriant oases. We’ll spend the day here on game drives, circling around giraffe, buffalo, hartebeest, dik-dik, monkeys and baboons.

At Mzima Springs, a verdant, lush watering hole, expect hippos. And you’ll love the special underwater viewing platform where you’ll enjoy a unique perspective of these aquatic creatures. Also look for crocodile and other wildlife along the shores. Your final night of the safari will be spent here, and in the morning, we’ll take off on one more game drive in this celebrated national reserve.

DAY 14

TSAVO WEST TO TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK (Approx. 5 hours)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast we shall have an enroute game drive as we proceed to Tsavo east national park arriving in time for a sumptuous hot lunch at our lodge. After lunch we shall embark on our afternoon/evening game drive. At the Tsavo East, our game drive will afford us exquisite views of the park.

DAY 15

TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK TO MOMBASA (Approx. 5 hours)

Meal Plan: Breakfast

After breakfast we shall have an enroute game drive as we traverse through this park checking the few animals and birds that we could have missed. We drop further to the South arriving in time for lunch to your Coastal beach hotel or alternatively the train at Voi to drop you to.
